Learning the piano is fun and exciting! Our lessons are made especially for kids to learn music in a simple and playful way. No matter if you’re just starting or already know a few songs, we’re here to help you become a fantastic piano player! Here’s everything you need to know to get started.

Getting Started: Meet the Piano Keys!
A piano has 88 keys, but you don’t need to learn all of them right away. We’ll begin with the basics, starting with Middle C, which is your home base on the keyboard.
- Find Middle C: Middle C is the white key right in the center of the keyboard. It’s usually to the left of a group of two black keys.

Once you’ve found Middle C, it’s time to learn how to read the notes. We’ll teach you the treble clef and bass clef notes in a way that’s easy to remember.
Tip: For the treble clef, try to remember:
- Every Good Boy Does Fine – These are the lines on the staff: E, G, B, D, F
- FACE – These are the spaces: F, A, C, E

Basic Piano Exercises 🖐️
Start with these simple finger exercises to make your fingers stronger and more flexible. Practice makes perfect, and these exercises are a great warm-up!
- Five Finger Warm-Up: Place your thumb on Middle C and play five notes with each finger.
- Climbing Up and Down: Play up the notes, then come back down slowly, keeping your hand relaxed.

Fun with Piano Chords 🎵
Once you’re comfortable with notes, it’s time to try piano chords. Chords are when you play multiple notes at the same time. Starting with C Major and G Major chords will make your songs sound full and beautiful.
